Mary Nichols
Lay Reader
Mary has been a Lay Reader with the parish for almost 30 years! She can be found leading worship at both churches, and is also involved in funeral ministry.
Michael Francescon
Lay Reader
Mike became a Church of England licensed lay minister (LLM) after a three-year part time training course in the Oxford Diocese completed in 2014. He has been an LLM in the Sunninghill and South Ascot parish for about ten years and has recently stepped back from his work as a civil engineer.
Rev’d Amanda Bourne
Associate Priest
Amanda was ordained into the Episcopal Church in the USA. In her day job she works in digital church communications, engaging people with liturgy, music and theology.
Amanda is passionate about adult formation and helping people to deepen their journey with God.
Nicola Shaw
Lay Preacher and Children’s worker
Nicola is a Methodist Lay Preacher who often preaches and leads services at All Souls, as well as the local Methodist circuit. She has also run our very popular ‘Toddler Praise’ service for many years, and there are many teenagers and young adults in our parish that owe their early positive encounters with Jesus and the Church to Nicola!

Geoff New
Lay Preacher
Geoff spent most of his professional life as a professor in the Physics Department of Imperial College London.
During his time at Imperial, he helped to run a weekly ‘Staff Christian Fellowship’, a prayer and bible study group. Geoff is still passionate about adult formation and enjoys being part of and leading small study groups.
Mike Cross
Lay Preacher
Mike has been a member of St Michael’s Church for a tad over 40 years, and has preached there for the last 10 of them. He is keen to encourage people to find ways to live out their faith in their everyday lives, not just at church on a Sunday morning
Mike also has a passion for photography and can often be found behind the camera lens at parish events!

Octavia O’Donoghue
(St Michael’s)
Octavia has been a Church Warden since 2024, having returned to faith as an adult.
She is also professional musician and member of St Michael’s choir.
Geoff Donovan
(St Michaels)
Geoff has been worshipping at St Michaels for about six years, and has been Church Warden since 2025. One of his reflections about church is that it gives all people a place to belong, and so Geoff works hard to build a community where everyone feels welcome and valued.
Liz Moore
(All Souls)
Liz has been Church Warden since 2025 (not for the first time!). She also founded the All Souls Coffee Shop and is passionate about the ministry of hospitality and welcome.
Liz is also an artist and helps lead the weekly free community art classes which take place at All Souls.

Nicola Hughes
Parish Office Manager
Nicola joined the team in 2019. She is the main contact for all funeral, wedding and baptism enquiries for both churches and St Michael’s Church Hall bookings. Essentially anything admin related! Her working hours are 9am-3pm / 07717 477390 / admin@ssaparish.org
The Rev. Tansley Jordan
Vicar
Tansley has been Vicar of the parish since November 2022. Before ordination she worked as a teacher and a housemistress in a boarding school before moving into chaplaincy.
Lucy Butcher
Parish Safeguarding Officer
Lucy has been our Parish Safeguarding Officer since summer 2025. She is really happy to chat to anyone who is concerned - especially if you aren’t sure whether to talk to someone or not!
